For Your Lucky Break – Look to the Sun, Jupiter and Midheaven in Your Chart

Do you sometimes wonder if you would ever get a lucky break in your life? If you do then you should look in your astrological chart to see if you have any favourable aspect to the Sun, Jupiter and the Midheaven (which is the cusp of the 10th house) and when they are being activated. The aspects to look for in your chart are the conjunction, sextiles or trines, these aspects will affect you for about a year. However there will always be a time in that year when the lucky break is at its highest point which could be caused by the progressed Moon coming into aspect with these planets and setting it all into motion. There may come times in your life when you feel ready to give up on becoming a success in what you are doing but it doesn’t matter what your chosen field is you will always be able to get help through astrology. An astrologer will be able to point out when you can expect a lucky break and a successful year, which will be different for everyone.

1980s Music Confessions: the Day the Music Died

1980s MusicPeople who think 1980s Music sucks will probably not find this funny. But it’s a true story.

One day a friend called me up to tell me that Spagna died. A little part of me died that day, because I remember lusting after this Spanish singer when she released “Call Me” in the mid-1980s, the decade I discovered music and began collecting vinyl records.

Spagna was Eurotrash. Her stuff was (and still is) absolute garbage. But music has a way of connecting with your emotions, and no matter how bad a song is, you can associate it with a time of your life when good (or bad) things happened.

One example: Brown Girl In The Ring by Boney M. Awful song, awful group, but I will always remember my first “big house”, in Edgware, London, where my mum and first stepfather had an original Wurlitzer juke box loaded with 1970s music.

Spagna is, as far as I know, still alive and kicking. Read the story at Tech Connect to find out more.
